For admission to the Graduate School of Law and Politics, students must have passed a certain level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). The specific criteria are as follows:
JLPT: N1 (Level 1 of the old test)
The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU): 250 (220 excluding writing) or above
