Applicants
for non-degree exchange programs need to be enrolled in:
(1) A
university or a college that has concluded an Inter-University Student Exchange
Agreement with Osaka
University, including the
provisions for mutual tuition waiver and credit transfer, or
(2) A
school or a faculty that has concluded an Inter-Faculty Student Exchange
Agreement with the School of Law, Osaka
University, including the
provisions for mutual tuition waiver and credit transfer.

If your
home institution has concluded the Inter-University Student Exchange Agreement,
you can get an Osaka
University Inter-University
Exchange Application Package at the international exchange office of your
institution.
If you
are a student of a school or a faculty that has concluded the Inter-Faculty Student
Exchange Agreement with the School of Law, Osaka University, you should consult a student exchange
officer of your school for the information about admission to the School of Law
at Osaka University.
Knowledge of the Japanese language is not an essential requirement. However, applicants must be proficient in English. A TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 550 or more on the Paper-Based Test (PBT), 213 or more on the Computer-Based Test (CBT), or 80 or more on the Internet-Based Test (iBT), is a prerequisite for students from non-English speaking countries.
